Landev Consulting is a civil engineering and land development firm headquartered on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast. Founded by Dustin Christmas, P.Eng., we specialize in transforming undeveloped land into thriving communities and functional infrastructure.
From subdivision design to municipal servicing, our work shapes the built environment across the Sea-to-Sky corridor and beyond. With offices in Gibsons and West Vancouver, and a new Squamish location opening in 2026, we bring local expertise and hands-on project management to every engagement.

Residential Development
A 48-lot residential subdivision on the upper Sunshine Coast featuring full municipal servicing including road construction, water distribution, sanitary sewer, and an integrated stormwater management system. The sloped, ocean-view terrain required innovative grading solutions and retaining wall design.

Commercial & Industrial
Civil engineering design for a 15-hectare commercial and industrial development in the District of Squamish. Access road design, underground utility corridors, and stormwater retention facilities.
Municipal Infrastructure
Road realignment, utility upgrades, and pedestrian infrastructure along a 1.8-kilometre corridor in West Vancouver. Addressed aging infrastructure while adding pedestrian pathways and improved intersection geometry.
Hillside Development
A 32-lot hillside residential development in Sechelt requiring complex grading, retaining walls, and innovative stormwater management using rain gardens and bioswales.
Flood Protection
Dike upgrades and comprehensive floodplain analysis along the Mamquam River corridor in Squamish. Coordination with DFO and provincial agencies. Protects over 1,200 properties from flood risk.
Infrastructure Renewal
Complete replacement of aging water and sewer infrastructure serving over 200 properties in Gibsons. Phased construction approach maintained service continuity throughout the multi-year project.
Mixed-Use Redevelopment
Site servicing and civil design for mixed-use development at the historic Britannia Mine site. Environmental remediation coordination required close collaboration with regulatory bodies.
Municipal Servicing
Municipal servicing for a 4.2-hectare mixed-use development in Whistler. District energy integration and advanced stormwater treatment systems designed to meet resort municipality standards.

As a Professional Engineer registered in British Columbia, Dustin brings hands-on experience across the full spectrum of civil engineering and land development. His approach emphasizes practical, constructible solutions that respect both the built and natural environments.
